hdilt ("how do i look today") is a style concierge app. You upload a photo, and we give you honest style notes. Here is exactly what happens with your data.

What we collect

• Account info: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we store your email, name, and profile photo URL.
• Approximate location: On your first sign-in, we record your country, region, and city. We do not store your IP address.
• Photos you upload: Your photo is uploaded to our cloud storage and sent to an AI model for analysis. Photos are not used to train any AI model.
• Style notes: The results we generate (compliment, verdict, fixes) are stored so you can view them later.
• Saved looks: If you save a look, we store the result text and a small thumbnail image.

Photos and face data

Some of the photos you upload include your face — for example, the color analysis feature works from a close-up of your face to read your skin, hair, and eye coloring.

We use these photos only to generate your style notes and color results. We do not use facial recognition, and we do not create a faceprint, face template, or any other biometric identifier. We do not use your face to identify you, match it against any database, or infer your identity, age, or ethnicity. Your photos are never used to train any AI model.

To produce your results, each photo is stored briefly in our cloud storage and sent to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) that generates the notes. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our storage within 24 hours. If you choose to save a look, we keep only a small thumbnail image, which you can delete at any time.

How we use your data

• To generate your style notes.
• To let you view past results and saved looks.
• To improve the product experience.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your photos for advertising or AI training.

Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate hdilt:

• Authentication: Google and Apple sign-in.
• AI processing:Your photo is sent to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) to generate style notes. It is not used to train the provider's models.
• Cloud hosting and storage: We use third-party services to host the app and store uploaded photos and data.

Data retention

Uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our cloud storage within 24 hours of processing. Your account data and style notes are retained as long as you have an account. Saved look thumbnails are retained as long as the look is saved. You can delete individual saved looks at any time.

Children

hdilt is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Delete your data

To delete your account and all associated data, email [email protected]. We will remove your account, saved looks, and all stored data.
